Delicious and Refreshing

This past weekend the Vancouver International Children’s Festival was happening over on Granville Island. Lucky for us we live a quick water taxi ride away and headed over to check out the fun. While we didn’t go to any of organized shows this year, we did partake in all the craziness outside along with all the extra people. Granville Island is usually a busy spot on weekends and even more so when there is a special event taking place.

There was a lot going on and so many tasty snacks available and my kids quickly asked for a treat. We felt pretty happy with our Mexi Pops food truck find who were selling handmade frozen treats with a Mexican twist. Mexi Pops is a small local company and travels around from Vancouver to Victoria and Vancouver Island.

This boy did not want to share his delicious strawberry chocolate popsicle and was very stingy with his attempts to share with his little sis. Luckily this girl can hold her own and got right in there to equal things out. There were so many delicious flavours to choose from and next time I’m totally trying their chocolate dipped banana.

Vancouverites, be on the look out for the Mexi Pops food cart and their seriously refreshing popsicles.
